L'Oréal Brow Artist Plumper: another drugstore hero

Good morning beauties!
I am back from my ski holidays in the Dolomites and this means the blog is back as well!! For the past week I wore little to no makeup because of wind, snow, sport, wearing a helmet and goggles. Two things I wore were mascara, rigorously waterproof, and brow gel. The particular one that came with me to the Italian Alps is the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper.
I have been looking for a great drugstore brow gel since trying the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel in October (read about my discovery here). That guy really opened my eyes to what I like for my brows and I have been looking for something less expensive and available. I have tried the Maybelline Brow Drama but with its humongous wand I was just getting brow gel all over my face.

I finally came across the new launch from L'Oreal at the drugstore and resisted for a bit, since I was disappointed by my previous purchase. Of course at my following trip to buy toothpaste, I caved and picked up the Brow Artist Plumper in the shade Medium/Dark and I was very pleasantly surprised. Not only the wand is the perfect size and delivers just the right amount of product that you need without feeling like you dipped your brows is liquid glue, the conical shape is also perfect to catch all the small hairs. Let's also talk about the size of this tube, it is as big as a regular mascara and contains twice as much product as the Benefit Gimme Brow, for example. As I mentioned it, I read around the blogosphere some comparing the L'Oreal and Benefit brow gels and finding very little difference, but I cannot say my own opinion since I haven't tried the highend one.

As for the performance of the Brow Artist Plumper itself, it feels very similar to the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel and sets the brows wonderfully, giving the extra color and a fills in the brows just enough for them to look natural and frame the face nicely. The lasting power is phenomenal and it totally withstood the wind and snow of my ski vacation.

There are three shades available: clear, blonde and medium/dark. As I said I have the latter and am very happy with the color, it is a really nice neutral dark brown. The L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper retails in the drugstores for 12€ and as I always repeat, you can score great deals and I brought it home with 50% discount!

What is your favorite brow gel? Have you tried this one?
