The Christmas Advent Challenge Week 2: Love, Hate, Wish

It's week 2 of The Christmas Advent Challenge Tag that the lovely ladies over at What's in my Bag and Consigli di Makeup set up for us and today we're talking about three products which I loved, hated and wish for in this past year.

LOVE:
The most loved discovery of this year are the Lorac Pro palettes. I absolutely adore them and use them pretty much every day and for any occasion! I raved about them here and here. With the two of them together you have a complete range of mattes and shimmers, neutrals and smokey colors. And the quality of the eyeshadows is WOW, to die for! They're buttery and some of the best matte shadows to blend. And to make it all better, under my Christmas tree is lying all wrapped up the new Lorac Mega Pro palette with 32 eyeshadows with all new shades. I can't wait to open my present!!

HATE:
It's difficult to find a product I hated this year, but a few disappointments came from the Rimmel Apocalips line. I was expecting long lasting liquid lipsticks and instead I got slippery gloss. long lasting Meh. On similar lines were the Makeup Academy Velevet Lipsticks which dry matte but crumble off the lips in a very unpleasant way.

WISH:
Hmm wishes, I have many. The one I'd like the most is one of the Christmas gift sets from Benefit, either the Cheeky Sweet Spot containing 6 of their famous box blushes, or the Complextion Confections with some of their best selling skin care bits!

So here are my Love, Hate and Wish for this Christmas period! What are yours? Let me know in the comments below!

  5. What a fab post! I really like seeing what people have loved, didn't get on with and what they are looking to try out next!

Where did you get your LORAC palettes from? I am dying to get hold of some and I am not 100% sure if I will be over in the US anytime soon yet.

    1. Hi sophia!
I got them from amazon.com and had them shipped to the netherlands. It was quick and easy with not too high shipping fees..They make up for the fact that things are cheaper in dollars. I got them all three this way and they came all in perfect conditions.
