Summer on your Eyes Part 1: Daytime Bronze

I normally don't have much more than 10 minutes to do my makeup and I love when I can just set all my things on the table and play with the makeup. So today I'm going to show you a daytime look based on bronzy colors that will give you the perfect summery feeling.

The Base, the bronzer and the highlight:
I start of with moisturized skin and apply my ROC Soleil Protexion + Mattifying fluid as SPF and primer. This is a great multitasker and you can never have too much SPF right? Then I'll prepare my base with the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream in 33 Rose Beige and the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. This my go to product for everyday use and gives the perfect light coverage. To cover the under eye bags and brighten the area I used my Zoeva 110 Face Shape with the CC eyecream, which is soo light you don't feel it and keeps your skin hydrated and soft. I finish by setting everything with the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder  in translucent with my Real Tecnhiques Multi-Task Brush. With the base done, I move to putting some shape and color and I apply The Body Shop Brush On Bronze Pearls with the ELF Stipple Brush. This bronzer is absolutely amazing! The perfect color and a very light sheen give my skin a healthy glow without making me look muddy or like a disco ball! I brush it all over the outside of my face (where I didn't highlight) and down the bridge of my nose, to make it look like i spent the day in the sun and got a healthy tan. As and extra touch of light I apply the MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Fairly Precious on the top of my cheekbones, which gives a beautiful peachy highlight.

The eyes:
For the eyes I primed my lids with the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Eternal Gold and start by packing on the Inglot eyeshadow 405 which is a beautiful light copper with the Zoeva 234 Smokey Shader. In the crease I put my all-time favorite transition shade which is Taupe from the Lorac Pro palette and use the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush to blend it well towards the eyebrow. Then I can start working on intensifying the look by adding two darker shadows in the outer V: Inglot 12 and Garnet from the Lorac Pro with the Real techniques Essential Crease Brush, which is a smaller version of the Base Shadow one and packs on color as well as blend. These colors are both a redish bronze that creates more definition on the outside of the eye, helping correct my hooded eyes for a more elongated look. With the top lid done, I blend some of the same eyeshadow Garnet on the lower lash line to give the look more depth with the Zoeva 230 Pencil brush. I finalize the look with a very thin brown liner L'Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision on my upper lash line (no wing this time) and multiple layers of my favorite mascaras Rimmel retro Glam for Volume and L'Oreal Telescopic Waterproof for length. My brows are done with the Catrice Eye Brow Styler in 030 Brow-n-eyed Peas.

Phew! A layer of the gorgeous Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nottinghill Nude brings it all together for a nice daytime bronzed look. That's a long process but I had time on my hands before going out for the day and had a lot of fun creating the look.

To check out the brushes I used you can find the Real Techniques here and the Zoeva ones here.

I hope you liked it and let me know down in the comments what is your go-to summer look!
