The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil review

Oh happiness in a bottle!
The Body Shop recently released the new Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil and after reading some reviews online and I decided to buy it and give it a try. And yes I am glad I did!
The Body Shop claims:
  • 8h beauty sleep for your skin
  • Skin feels recharged, replenished and softer
  • Skin looks fresher, rested and more radiant
  • Non-greasy, fast-absorbing formula
I apply it at night after cleansing with my The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Balm (review here). I just take 5-6 drops of it and massage it into my skin. It comes out as an oil but when applied it absorbs fast and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. Indeed I would call it a serum-oil hybrid. After that I go on and apply my eye cream and the usual night time moisturiser and go to sleep. That's when where magic happens!

Having combination skin, I usually wake up in the morning to the usual layer of shine on my t-zone that my skin produces overnight, which is ok since I use a rich moisturiser, but that still bugs me a bit. After starting to use this Serum-In-Oil the dreaded morning shine is gone! My skin feels soft and plump and no major shininess on my nose!

I might have found the product that gives my skin the hydration it needs without leaving me greasy and actually regulates the oil production during the night!
I love it!!!!

You can buy it online here or at any brand shop for only 19 euros!
Definitely worth it!

Have you ever tried beauty oils? Do they work for you?

  1. Wow this sounds great! I've never used a beauty oil before but I might just have to give this one a go :)

  2. This sounds so good, I've been wanting to try it and even more so now as my skin is always so oily of a morning! Lovely review, thank you.
